Ina Ferebee, 89, Dickinson, formerly of Halliday, died Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at Hilltop Home of Comfort, Killdeer. Memorial services will be 10 a. m. Saturday, September 10, 2005, at St. John?s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Killdeer, with Pastor Aanen Gjovik, officiating. Inurnment will be in the Halliday Cemetery, Halliday. Ina Dell Guenther was born October 24, 1915, in rural Dunn Center, ND to Benjamin and Ina (Fox) Guenther. She grew up and attended school in Dunn Center and Werner. On June 12, 1935, she married George Ferebee in Killdeer, ND. They farmed in the Halliday community for 51 years. Ina was very active in the Halliday Congregational Church and was very committed to sending her children to church activities. Ina and George enjoyed traveling, square dancing, going to many county commissioners? conventions, and visiting her children and grandchildren. Ina enjoyed flowers, music, and reading (especially National Geographics). Ina always had caramel rolls ready for company. Her favorite hobby was using a tape recorder, which she used to tape many of her favorite religious programs and events. After her husband?s death, Ina moved to Dickinson. Ina had great memories singing in the Senior Citizen Choir, enjoyed attending concerts and plays, and participating in Christian Women?s Fellowship. She was always ready for new experiences. Ina is survived by her seven children: Clifford (Marion) Ferebee, Halliday, ND, George (Carol), Ferebee, Hill City, SD, Anita (James) Solberg, Albuquerque, NM, Ruby (Mark) Mayer, Bakersfield, CA, Mary Jo Lobb, Dickinson, ND, Audrey (Mike) Gear, Sidney, MT and Dorothy Bogges, Bakersfield, CA; sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchiildren; one brother, Darrell Guenther, and one sister, Margie Zich. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, George; two sons, James and Paul; twin sister, Ione, and three brothers, Milton, Ronald, and Wesley Guenther.
