Irving passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 on his farm near Gladstone.

Irving Steve Raab was born August 17, 1936 in Stark County, the son of Adam and Theresa (Anton) Raab. He grew up and attended country school, later graduating from Model High in Dickinson. Following his education, he returned to the Raab family farm where he worked with his father. Irving enjoyed farming southwest of Gladstone and working with cattle, especially his Aberdeen Angus herd. He enjoyed working with all of his animals and had a soft spot for his farm cats. After the sale of his cattle and leasing out his farmland, Irving stayed on the farm to help maintain it. In spite of his failing health, Irving continued to keep up with all his farm chores. Irving was a member of Knights of Columbus, Dickinson Eagles Club and St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church of Lefor. Irving always enjoyed attending Mass in Lefor, New England or Dickinson.

Irving is survived by his sister Regina Roth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Theresa and his brother-in-law, Robert Roth.
