He grew up on the family farm north of Belfield and survived being the baby of seven children. Jaime helped out milking cows on the dairy farm while he attended school in Belfield and graduated in 1992 from Belfield High School. Jaime then enrolled in truck driving school and began working with his father on their trucking business. He also worked for Mayer Trucking for several years, followed by time spent at Cenex as a mechanic and most recently, as a welder for Steffes Corp. In 1994, he met Tammy Grad at a chiropractic appointment and a relationship blossomed. On August 15, 1997, they were married at the River of Life Assembly of God in Dickinson. Jaime and Tammy made their home on the family farm north of Belfield with their three children, Hunter, Taya and Trin. Jaime was also a wonderful husband and a great father. He enjoyed the farm, tinkering with the farm equipment, especially John Deere and Ford Motor Company products. He also loved to ride horses, care for the livestock, and watch Nascar. Jaime loved spending any free time he could find with his children. He was a perfectionist and strived to ?over achieve? at everything he did. He was very soft hearted and sincere.
