James P. ?Jamie? Mueller, 49, Amarillo, TX, formerly of Dickinson, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 in Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p. m. , Monday, March 6, 2006, at St Patrick?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Austin Vetter celebrating. Interment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 9 p. m. , Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home with a rosary and sharing at 7 p. m. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9 a. m. to 12 noon at Price-Murphy Funeral Home. James Paul Mueller was born December 27, 1956, in Dickinson to Richard W. and Bernice (Markel) Mueller. He began school at St. Patrick?s Elementary in Dickinson, then attended school in Mott for five years, then returned to Dickinson and attended Trinity High School, graduating in 1975. James graduated from Dickinson State University. In high school, James played basketball, football, track, and Legion Baseball and was a member of the 1st Team All-State Basketball Team of 1975. As an adult, James enjoyed participating in all sports, including running, hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling. He was employed as a Regional Sales Manager for Anderson Merchandisers since 1993. He is survived by: his mother, Bernice Mueller, Dickinson; one sister, Mary Jo (Ivan) Turner, Littleton, CO; four brothers, Richard ?Rick? (Janie Peters) Mueller, Dickinson, John (Lois) Mueller, Dickinson, Josef (Catherine) Mueller, Spokane, WA and Patrick (Suzie) Mueller, Bismarck, ND; maternal grandmother, Emma Markel, St. Benedict?s Health Center, Dickinson; nieces and nephews, Michael Mueller, Brian Mueller, Adriane Mueller, Jenna Mueller, Jill Mueller, Kyle Mueller, Brooke Mueller, Lucas Mueller and Josef Mueller. He was preceded in death by, his father, paternal and maternal grandfathers and paternal grandmother. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: James P. Mueller Trinity High School Athletic Memorial Fund, 810 Empire Road, Dickinson, ND 58601.
