Funeral Services for Jane Huffman, 60, of Dickinson will be 2:00 p. m. Monday, June 18, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Pastor Jack Bluel officating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. Monday, June 18, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home. Jane passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at the St. Mary?s Medical Center in Duluth, MN. Jane was born on January 7, 1947, in Beulah, ND to Arthur and Martha (Mai) Bauer. Jane attended school in Zap, ND. After school, she then moved to Dickinson where she worked at various jobs. Jane?s longest and most rewarding job was at St. Benedict?s Nursing Center as a Certified Nurse Assistant for 24 years. On June 19, 1966 Jane and Gary C. Haugen were married and two children were born from this union. On August 10, 1979, Steven Huffman and Jane were united in marriage in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Jane and Steve lived in various places and for the last 10 years they owned and operated the ?Obabakon Bay Camp? fishing resort in Canada. It is here that Jane made many long and lasting friendships. During the off months of the resort, Jane spent time catching up on the ?old times? with family and friends. She was especially fond of her grandchildren and cherished her time with them. Jane is survived by: her husband, Steve Huffman, Dickinson; four daughters, Leota (Paul) Byron, Dickinson; Tammy (Jack) Bluel, St. Paul, MN; Terri Huffman, Duluth, MN; Angie Cruz, St. Paul, MN; four brothers, Adrian (Blanche) Bauer, Zap, ND, Duane (Faith) Bauer, North Windom, CT, Jerry (Sarah) Bauer, Stanton, ND Mike Bauer, Beulah, ND; sisters, Verla Namyniuk, Stanton, ND, Pam (Darrel) Rahn, Hazen, ND, Linda (Larry) Gregory, Dickinson, Sandra (Myron) Romanyshyn, South Heart and Kim (John) Moorman, Stanton, ND; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Martha Bauer: twin sister, Judy; and one infant son Gary Curtis Haugen Jr.
