Jane McAdow

A Liturgy of the Word service for Jane McAdow, 86, of Dickinson will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Father Shannon Lucht celebrating.


Jane passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson.


Jane Clara was born April 8, 1931 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Jake and Annie (Marino) Calabrese.  She grew up in Denver and attended Berkley Grade School and Westminister High School.  As a young adult she continued to help her family on the vegetable farm.  It was during this time that she met Floyd McAdow.  They were married on October 2, 1950 in Denver.  The couple was blessed with three children.  Over the years, Jane worked in various restaurants in the area.  In 2010, the couple moved to North Dakota to be closer to her family.  Jane enjoyed the mountains of Colorado.  She was passionate about taking care of her home, garden, yard and flowers.  It was always kept beautiful and pristine.  She also enjoyed collecting bells and Indian artifacts. Jane will be dearly missed.


Jane is survived by her daughter, Clara (Gene) Kasper of Belfield; sons, Floyd (Cindy) McAdow of Glenwood Springs, CO, Jack McAdow of Arvada, CO; three grandchildren, Dawn (CJ) Kessel of Belfield , Jay McAdow of Denver, Mathew McAdow of Long Island, NY; one great-grandchild, Allyssia; sister, Catherine Miley of Denver, CO.


She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; six siblings.
