Janet Boschee

A funeral service for Janet M. Boschee, 67, of Glen Ullin, will be 11:00 a. m. , CST, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church in Glen Ullin with Pastor Toby Heller officiating. Burial will take place in the Glen Ullin Cemetery. Visitation for Janet will be from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. , CST, Monday, February 22 at the Spangelo Stevenson Funeral Home in Glen Ullin with a prayer service being held at 7:00 p. m. , CST. Janet passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 after a three year battle with cancer at Sanford Health in Bismarck. Janet was born March 16, 1948, in Glen Ullin, ND, the daughter of Edward and Katherine (Wallery) Boschee. She grew up and attended school in Glen Ullin graduating from Glen Ullin High School in 1966. She went on to attend one quarter of college at Dickinson State University. Janet returned to Glen Ullin and began her life long career in banking; starting as a cashier and retiring as an officer in 2014. Janet enjoyed playing organ in church, crocheting, quilting, playing cards, reading, bunco, and dominos. She loved to travel across the United States and Europe. Spending time with her family and playing with her great-nieces and nephews brought her great joy. Janet was an avid sports fan and could always be found cheering on the Glen Ullin Rattlers/ Bearcats as well as watching the Green Bay Packers every Sunday. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the pinochle and bunco group and volunteered at the Glen Ullin City Library. Janet is survived by her brother, Jerome (Kathy) Boschee of Glen Ullin; nieces, Tawni (Brent) Anderson of Dickinson and Kayla (Justin) Schlosser of Bismarck; nephews, Jerry (Michelle) Boschee of Kalispell, MT, and Brian (Kim) Boschee of Las Vegas, NV; and six great-nephews and nieces, Lexy, Cain, & Zoee Boschee, Scott Boschee, and Raina & Brody Schlosser. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Katherine; and brothers, Kenneth and Larry.
