A celebration of life for Jay Rehling, 42, of Hebron will be from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Hebron Community Center
Jay passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in Sidney, MT due to health complications.
Jay Paul Rehling was born June 12, 1979 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Kenneth and Judy (Genter) Rehling.
He attended Hebron Public School and graduated in 1997. After High School, he attended Bismarck State College and MSU-Moorhead, where he graduated as a Licensed Social Worker.
Throughout the years, Jay showed his care and compassion while working at some of the following agencies; Dakota Boys Ranch, State of South Carolina, North Dakota State Penitentiary and Hettinger County Social Services.
Jay was always a sales man at heart. Wherever he lived, Jay would work part time at Sears stores, and most recently he was the regional manager for Auto Value Auto Parts.
When living in Greenville, South Carolina, Jay became a diehard Clemson Football Fan. He also had a passion for hunting that was definitely passed down from his dad. Jay enjoyed his yearly deer and turkey trips to the Badlands with his hunting crew. His love of skiing started early with Spring Break trips to Montana, with a group of families. Jay continued to take numerous trips to mountain resorts. He was very passionate, caring and enjoyed helping his family.
Jay is survived by his mother, Judy Rehling of Hebron; sister, Jill (Matt) Vollmers of Bismarck; half-sister, Trish Ackerman of Pueblo, CO; nieces and nephew, Avery and Abel Vollmers, Emily Namath; uncles and aunts, Fred and Donna Duckwitz, Marlys Kienzle, Larry and Shirly Genter, Sarles and Jane Bredeson, Ken and Sue Feichtner; numerous cousins; and special friends, the Brian Dresser Family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Rehling (2019); grandparents, Paul and Clara Rehling, and Lawrence and Mildred Genter; and godfather, Victor Rehling
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or Nexus- PATH Family Healing, Foster Services.
