Our condolences to the Metzger families in the loss of your Mom. She was a wonderful neighbor for 20 plus years. Some of our memories of Jean include a warm welcome to the neighborhood the day we moved in, delicious baked goodies, a sincere interest in what our family was doing, and lots of visiting on the front porch with the offer of coffee or a pop. It was the norm to see her sitting on the front porch working on crossword puzzles, talking on the phone, or chatting with some company. She was a classy lady! Phil, Pam, Luke & Betsy Moormann

James, Patty and Family, My sympathy and prayers to you. What a pleasure it was to spend time with Jean. I often thought how lucky it was to have had you as neighbors and the bonus of getting to know your mom. I’m sure she is already entertaining all our loved ones in heaven and getting her yarn ready to crochet. The Happy Hooker is now a special angel for us and left us with so many treasured memories ???

Mom, I will truly miss your love and kindness. You were the driving force in shaping me to be the best husband, father and grandfather I could be. Your sense of humor and love will be sorely missed by everyone. I was truly blessed to have you as my mother. May you Rest In Peace with Dad, Cherie and all the other angels in heaven. Love James
