Funeral Services for Jeanne Bergstrom, 77, Dickinson are 1:30 p. m. Thursday, January 4, 2007 at St. Luke?s Chapel, Dickinson. Burial will be at a later date in Osakis, Minnesota. Visitation will be Wednesday, 9:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Jeanne passed away Thursday, December 21, 2006 at St. Luke?s Home in Dickinson. Jeanne Bergstrom was born November 23, 1929, in Osakis, MN, the daughter of George A. ?Burt? and Inez (McClellan) Fraser. She grew up and attended country school and later graduated from the Osakis High School in 1947. She began working for the local telephone company as an operator until 1949. Jeanne was married to Robert Bergstrom on July 16, 1949 in Osakis. Together they lived and raised their three children in west central Minnesota. After the death of Robert in 1972, Jeanne moved to Dickinson to be closer to her cousin, Peggy Rixen. She began working for Kings Grocery and later for K-Mart in the Customer Service Department. Jeanne moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family. She continued to work for K-Mart in Fergus Falls and Alexandria, Minnesota until her retirement. In 1996, she moved back to Dickinson where her daughter joined her in 1997. Due to failing health, Jeanne has made her home at St. Luke?s Home since August. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, cross stitching and cross word puzzles. Jeanne especially enjoyed her two cats, Missy and Mr. Survivors include, her daughter, Deborah Jeanne Bergstrom, Dickinson; two sons, Richard Fraser Bergstrom, Seattle, WA and Charles (Becky) Bergstrom, Donnelly, MN; four grandchildren, Nikki, Jessie, Annie and Sammi; a brother, Robert (Barb) Fraser, Duluth, MN and a sister, Muriel (Orval) Gubrud, Canby, MN
