Jeannine Walth

Funeral services for Jeannine Walth, 68, of Bismarck, formerly of Hebron, ND will be at 10:00 a. m. , CST Monday November 9, 2009 at the United Methodist Church in Hebron, ND with Pastor Marcy Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at the United Methodist Cemetery in Hebron. Visitation will be from 2:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. CST on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Spangelo Stevenson Funeral Home in Hebron. Jeannine (Hintz) Walth was born February 3, 1941 to Edwin and Elvira (Alpert) Hintz in Richardton, ND. She grew up on a farm, South of Richardton and at the age of six she moved to Hebron. She attended school in Hebron, later graduating from Hebron High School in 1960. Shortly after graduation, she married Alvin Walth on June 18, 1960 in Hebron. To this union three children were born; Curtis, Corey and Darla. While in Hebron, Jeannine worked various jobs while Alvin was working at the Brickyard. The couple moved to Dickinson for awhile before returning to Hebron. Upon returning to Hebron, Jeannine worked as an EMT and CNA at the Marian Manor HealthCare Center in Glen Ullin, ND. Jeannine and Alvin later moved to Bismarck where the couple has resided since. Jeannine worked at MedCenter One in Bismarck as a CNA and Telemetry Tech until she retired in 2007. Jeannine loved to draw and quilt. Each family member has been given one of her homemade quilts. She also liked to knit, crochet and sew. She was a wonderful cook, specializing in German foods. She also enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She had an extensive bell collection. She often received bells of other states and countries from traveling family members. Her greatest love was her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. More than anything she loved to attend their football games and concerts. Jeannine passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009 at MedCenter One Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Jeannine is survived by her husband, Alvin, Bismarck, ND, sons; Curtis (Leisha) Walth, Bismarck, ND and Corey (Jane) Walth, Bismarck, ND, daughter, Darla (Kellen) Messmer, Mott, ND, brother, Gaylen (Lois) Hintz, Castlewood, SD, sister, Dolly (Clarence) Walth, Mott, ND, sister-in-law, Virginia Kraenzel, Dickinson, ND, grandchildren, Shawn and Shannon Messmer, Mott, ND and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
