Jeff Anton

A Liturgy of the Word Service for Jeffery John Anton, 61, of Dickinson will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Deacon Bob Stockert celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.


Visitation for Jeff will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday September 19, at the funeral home with a rosary being said at 10:00 a.m.


Jeff passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his home in Dickinson after a long battle with diabetes.


Jeff was born March 13, 1956 to John and Margaret (Kostelecky) Anton. He grew up in Dickinson and graduated from Dickinson High School. After graduation, Jeff enlisted in the National Guard and was honorably discharged.


Jeff worked numerous jobs throughout his life including working along-side his dad as a janitor and driving truck. He was an avid sports fan and could often be found watching racing competitions.


Jeff is survived by his brothers, Larry (Belynda) Anton, James (Betty) Anton, John Anton Jr., and David Anton; sisters, Darlene (David) Jilek, LaVerne (Jerald) Koppinger, and Wendy Anton; sister-in-law, Dawn Anton; nieces and nephews, Tyler Jilek, Kayla Jilek, Melissa Koppinger, Roberta (Brice) Fischer, Joshua Koppinger, Thomas (Tina) Draper, Robert (Mandi) Draper, Travis (Amy) Anton, Ashley (Jade) Foss, Eric Cook, Carla Cook, and Brooke Anton; great nieces and nephews, Karsten, Micaiah, Jaxon, Brayden, and Alex.


Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Anton; a brother, Scott Anton; and a nephew, Dustin Anton.
