A funeral Mass for Jenny Glaser, 88, of Dickinson, will be 9:00 a. m. , Thursday, February 19, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, ND with Father Todd Kreitinger celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation for Jenny will be from 2:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. , Wednesday, February 18 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and memories being shared at 7:00 p. m. . Jenny Glaser was born on August 10, 1926 in Snow, North Dakota to George and Pearl (Prociv) Pasicyznk . She grew up and attended school in Belfield, ND and later lived in Dickinson, ND. She departed this life on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2015 at the age of 88. She worked at the Dickinson Creamery in the early 1950’s, in retail, in addition to working as a lunchroom supervisor at Berg Elementary for many years. On Jan. 15, 1952, she married Raymond Glaser in Belfield, ND. They resided in Dickinson. Jenny was known for her gardening skills and sharing her bountiful harvests with everyone. Her pickles, chokecherry jelly, and homemade treats were pursued by friends and relatives near and far. She was also known for her cooking of her Ukrainian delicacies. In 2013, she moved to an apartment in Fargo, ND. She most recently was rehabbing a broken hip at Villa Maria, also in Fargo. She enjoyed her therapy there, meeting new friends, attending mass, going to the beauty salon, and daily visits from her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Jenny is survived by her children, Pam (John) Guttman, Eden Prairie, MN, Cheryl (Scott) Bombenger, Fargo, ND, Rhonda Spott, Georgetown, TX, Bonnie (Rob) Branton, Corcoran, MN; eight grandchildren, Ashly, Chaz, Tanner, Matt, Greta, JJ, Jackie, and Abby; brothers Joe Pasicznyk, Dickinson, ND, Walt Pasicznyk, Medford, OR, Ron Pasicznyk, Salem, OR, Eddie Pasicznyk, Spokane, WA, Sam Pasicznyk, Dickinson, ND, sisters, Regina Saleck, Richfield, MN, Viola Meidinger, Miles City, MT, Margaret Palodichuk, Salem, OR. , and Betty Racicot, Spokane, WA. She is preceded in death by both parents, Jenny’s husband, Raymond, infant son, John Paul, brothers, Mike, Marvin, Jake, Steve, Pete, and sisters, Ann, and Mary.
