Funeral service for Jerry J. Huber, 58, of Dickinson will be 10 a. m. , Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with Pastor Michael Wolters, officiating. Burial will be at 3 p. m. (CDT), Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the North Dakota Veteran?s Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Visitation will be Sunday 1 p. m. to 5 p. m. and continue on Monday from 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Jerry passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008 at his home in Dickinson. Jerry was born May 26, 1949, the son of Adam and Katherine (Frank) Huber. Grew up and attended school in Dodge and graduated from Dodge High School in 1967. Jerry enlisted and served in the North Dakota National Guard and served his term of duty. He continued to operate the family farm in the Dodge area until 1981. Jerry retired at an early age due to health problems, and made his home in Dickinson since. He loved to fish and had some great success at it. He has many fish to his name that weighed over thirty pounds. Jerry also enjoyed watching old time movies and westerns. He is survived by: his brothers, Victor (Shirley) Huber, Dickinson and Ray (Sharon) Huber, Mandan; nieces, Kathy (Chris) Rooke, Bismarck and Shelly (Brennon) O? Callaghan, Maple Grove, MN; nephews, Jason (Rheannon) Huber, Brent Huber and Todd (Jesse) Huber all of Bismarck; two great nephews and two great nieces; special friend, Connie Wise, Dickinson. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Elmer and Harold.
