Graveside Services for Gerald Lee ?Jerry? Sickler, 48 of Dickinson, will be held 1:00 p. m. Saturday, July 2, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson. Visitation will be Friday, July 1, 2005 from 9:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson ChapelJerry passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005 at his home in Dickinson. Jerry was born July 11, 1956 at Dickinson, the son of Anton and Tillie (Mischel) Sickler. He was the youngest of nine brothers and from a family of fourteen children. Jerry attended rural school for four years and then St. Joseph?s School through the eighth grade. He attended Dickinson High School until he was sixteen. Due to an automobile accident in 1972, he was limited to his activities and learning disabilities. He still enjoyed walking and having his coffee. Some of his other activities included horseback riding, going to rodeos and being with his family. He took pride in keeping up with current events in the news on both the T. V. and radio. Through the years, he always enjoyed making people laugh. Jerry is survived by eight brothers: Dave (Marcie), Great Falls, MT; Ray (Angie), Bozeman, MT; Alfred (Mary), Dickinson, ND; Duane, Dickinson, ND; Don, Sierra Vista, AZ; Arnie, Dickinson, ND; Dale (Sharon), Dickinson, ND; and Rod, Dickinson, ND; five sisters: Arlie (Ron) Anton, Dickinson, ND; Adzie (Jim) Barstow, Walnut Creek, CA; Marie (Bob) Bostock, Gilroy, CA; Marla (Dennis), Dickinson, ND; and Cindy, Dickinson, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. The family requests memorials be sent to Able, Inc. 653 19th St W, Dickinson, ND 58601 or to the charity of their choice.
