JoAnn Weber

A funeral service for JoAnn Weber, 70, of New Town, formerly of Dickinson, will be 1:00 p. m., Monday, November 18, 2013 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with Deacon Dallas Carlson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.


Visitation for JoAnn will be 11:00 p. m. – 1:00 p. m. , Monday, November 18th at Stevenson Funeral Home.


JoAnn passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.


JoAnn (Kaip) Weber was born March 18, 1943 to Nick and Florence (Reiter) Kaip in Dickinson, ND. She grew up and attended St. Joseph’s Grade school, attending High school at Dickinson and Graduated from Mandan High School. On May 19, 1962 JoAnn married William R. Weber Sr. The couple was blessed with four children, William Jr. , Taunie, Lori, Darrell. They made their home in Dickinson where JoAnn worked as a bookkeeper for White Drug. The family moved to New Town and it was here where JoAnn called home for the rest of her life. Through the years JoAnn worked at Lakeside Ins. Manager of the Cottage Inn, Ben’s Steak and Stein, Edgewater Country Club and Cenex General Store. JoAnn truly enjoyed helping and working with others. She was a member of Catholic Daughters and Degree of Honor. Golfing was an enjoyment of JoAnn’s and she was fortunate enough to have a hole in one on the New Town Golf Course. She also bowled on a State Championship Bowling Team. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and playing cards. JoAnn loved her family very much. Her love and Independence will be missed by all who knew her.


JoAnn is survived by her four children, William R. (Charlene) Weber Jr. , Silver Lake, WI; Taunie (James) Leppell, Keene, ND; Lori Moore, Bismarck, ND; Darrell (Sheenah) Weber, Sand Springs, OK; six grandchildren, Daniel (Georgia) Leppell, Jessie Leppell, Chelsey Keigley, Brady Weber, and Grant & Deeann Davis, four Great Grandchildren Lukas , William,& George Leppell, and Parker Weber; 4 step grandchildren, Sisters, Rita Klug, Mandan; Kathleen Chase, Detroit Lakes, MN.


She is preceded in death by her mother and father, a brother and a sister.
