John worked in the oil patch his whole life, owning his own business, Bertsch?s Oilfield Service until 2003, when he was offered a construction foreman position with Encore Operating, now known as Denbury Resources. Renee?, John Michael, Kristopher Austin and Brittany Ann. They would later divorce. On June 10, 2000, John married his best friend and the love of his life, Melodie K. Boggs. They spent 10 ? wonderful years together. ?He was the kindest man we knew; he was our rock and we will miss him dearly. ?Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Adeline Bertsch, Baker, MT; his loving wife and best friend, Melodie Bertsch, Baker, MT; his children, Desiree? (Sam) Thielen and his three wonderful grandchildren Taylor, Hugo and Emma, Plevna, MT, John Michael Bertsch (special friend, Keli Gentilini) Baker, MT, Kristopher Bertsch, Casper, WY and Brittany Bertsch, Bozeman, MT; his sister, Patty Beck, Lockeford, CA; his brother, Tim (Kathy) Bertsch, New Orleans, LA.
