John Goetz, age 37, of Hebron died Thursday, February 16, at his home in Hebron. Burial of ashes will be held in the St. John Cemetery in Hebron on Thursday at 12:30 PM Central Time. Memorial services will be at 1:30 PM Central Time on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at St. John Church in Hebron. John Victor Goetz was born May 8, 1968 in Richardton, ND the son of Victor and Gail (Schroeder) Goetz. He was raised at Halliday and began his education their. They moved to a ranch North of Hebron in 1979. John graduated from Hebron High School in 1986. He attended Bismarck State College and farmed and ranched with Victor. He returned to BSC and studied Power Plant Technology and secured employment at Dakota Gasification CO. He returned to the ranch after several years. John?s favorite pastime was hunting pheasants, deer and calling coyote?s. John is survived by his parents, Victor and Gail Goetz, Hebron, ND and his brother Troy, of Bismarck.
