John Hardmeyer

John Hardmeyer, 97, Taylor, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services will be 10 a. m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Taylor, with Rev. Gary Wood officiating. Interment will be in St. John?s Lutheran Cemetery, Richardton. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p. m. Friday at Price-Murphy Funeral Home and will continue on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. John Hardmeyer was born April 11, 1907 in Richardton to Karl and Katherine (Goetz) Hardmeyer. He farmed south of Taylor for a number of years. He married Frieda Maas on April 20, 1927, in Dickinson, ND. He was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Taylor. John enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Frieda died August 20, 1997. John is survived by: his daughter, Bonnie (Norman) Jesperson, Dickinson; three granddaughters, Randi (Douglas) Hall, Minot, ND, Beth (Curtis) Kainz, Galesburg, ND, Karlin (Roy) Teigland, Savage, MN; two grandsons, Brian (Jane) Jesperson, Bismarck, ND and Kent (Linette) Jesperson, Cheyenne, WY; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson and one sister, Martha Rosen, Mott, ND. He was preceded in death by: his wife; parents; one grandson; four brothers and seven sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Immanuel United Church of Christ, 11 2nd St. W. , Taylor, ND 58656.
