Josephine Templeton, 88, Dickinson, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson, ND. Memorial services will be 10 a. m. , Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with Rev. Scott McKirdy officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lusk, WY. Rosella Josephine Kinkade was born April 23, 1918 in Pine Bluffs, WY to Elgin and Minnie (Ekstrom) Kinkade. She attended schools in Laramie, Cheyenne, and Pine Bluffs, WY. She graduated from high school in Pine Bluffs in 1935. She attended the University of Wyoming and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She married Robert C. Templeton on May 1, 1938 in Cheyenne, WY. She was the secretary at Niobrara County High School from 1957 ? 1978. She was a past matron of Niobrara Chapter #26 O. E. S. and a member of Chapter I P. E. O. She was the Congregational Church Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the chairman of the Niobrara County Library Board for six years. She was also involved in the Cancer Board, was a Brownie Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Den Mother, Ladies President and member of the Niobrara Country Club, and was a member of the Niobrara Recycling Board of Directors. She enjoyed golfing and traveling with her husband of 68 years. She is survived by: her children, JoAnn (Fred) Bigner, Corona, CA, Lana (Fred) Henman, Laramie, WY, Thomas R. (Cheryl) Templeton, Dickinson, ND; grandchildren, Cynthia Meka, Sanford, ME, Lisa (Tim) Jette, Laramie, WY, Justin Day, Laramie, WY, Kiffany Whitten, Denver, CO, Gregory Whitten, Ft. Collins, CO, Adam Templeton, Lincoln, NE, Sean Templeton, Dickinson, ND; one brother, Orin L. Kinkade, Oakland, CA. She was preceded in death by: her parents; grandson, Michael Whitten; one brother, Howard L. Kinkade. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Niobrara County Library, Lusk, WY, 82225, or P.
