Joyce Harger

Visitation for Joyce Harger, 76, of Dickinson will be from 12:30 pm. , – 1:30 pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2008, in the chapel of St. Benedict?s Health Center. Graveside Rites will be 3:30 pm, Tuesday at the Bonnievale Cemetery in Baker, MT. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ? 9:00 pm, Monday, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Joyce passed away Saturday, November 29, 2008 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Joyce was born January 21, 1932 in Oakland City, Indiana the daughter of Dewey T. and Etta (Golden) Harger. She grew up and attended country school in Indiana. Due to polo as a young child, Joyce was never able to get around without assistance. While the family was young, they moved to Ismay, MT. Joyce made her home with her parents for many years. St. Benedict?s Health center has been Joyce?s home for the last 27 years. Her family is very grateful for the many years of care she has received. Joyce enjoyed collecting Disney movies, bibles and rosaries. She also liked to play games on the computer. She is survived by her brothers, Harvey (Cheryl) Harger, St. George, UT, Steve (Diane) Harger, Red Lodge, MT and Thomas (Judy) Harger, Columbus, MT; sisters, Esther (Harold) Pratt, Dickinson, ND and Martha Merritt, Albuquerque, NM; 15 nieces and nephews including Jerry (Jodee) Pratt, Baker,MT; numberous great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews. Joyce is preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Talmabge Harger and two infant brothers; sisters, Mary Tibbets and Louise Harger Lester.
