Joyce Kostelecky

Joyce Kostelecky, 78, Dickinson, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at St. Luke?s Home, Dickinson. Memorial services will be 2 p. m. , Friday, February 4, 2005 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson. Inurnment will be in Dickinson Cemetery. Joyce Esslinger was born September 6, 1926 in Dickinson, ND to Fred and Ellen (Thompson) Esslinger. She graduated from Dickinson High School in 1944 and attended Dickinson State Teacher?s College. She married Lewis Kostelecky on February 14, 1970 in Dickinson. She worked for her father at the Farmer?s Elevator and at Electric Sales and Service. She worked at Liberty National Bank for many years until retirement. She loved to read, cook, and visit with her friends. Lewis died November 2, 1985. She is survived by two nephews, Jerry (Linda) Bich, Wayzata, MN and Don Bich, Boise, ID; special friends, Joan Walton, Rita Manning and Blanche Heidt. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Lewis; parents; one brother, Don Esslinger and one sister, Evelyn (Rudy) Bich. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Dickinson Public Library, 139 3rd St. W. , Dickinson, ND 58601 or St. Luke?s Home, 242 10th St. W. , Dickinson, ND 58601.
