Joyce Williamson, 64, Dickinson, died Wednesday, December 18, 2002, after a lengthy illness, at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Saturday, December 21, 2002, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located off of Museum Drive in Dickinson, with President Paul Schuetzler presiding. Interment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Joyce Mae Williamson was born February 1, 1938, in Paduca, Texas, to Jesse and Omie Anie (Furr) McDonald. She was raised in southwestern Oklahoma and attended school in Tipton, Oklahoma. Joyce married Jim Behne June 21, 1959, in Guymon, Oklahoma and later married James LeRoy Williamson in Guymon, Oklahoma. She moved to Dickinson in 1997, to be with her daughter. Joyce became a baptized member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in November of 1976. She enjoyed reading, painting and crocheting. Joyce is survived by: one daughter and son-in-law, Jaquetta and Leslie Wayne Hancock, Dickinson; three grandchildren, Torretta Arlene Mathews, Dickinson, Nathan Levi Mathews, Guymon, Oklahoma, and Jimmy Lee Mathews, Dickinson; two great grandchildren, Christian Alan Belile, Dickinson, and Mamie Jo Mathews, Guymon, Oklahoma; sisters, Irene Bowman, Blair, Oklahoma, Jean Dudley, Tampa, Fla. and Eloise McDonald, Altus, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by: three infant children, Diedra Ann, Jeffery Don and Patty Jeanenne Behne; parents; three brothers and one sister.
