Judy Tooz

Mass of Christian burial for Judy Tooz, 61, of Fort Lupton, CO, formerly of Dickinson, will be 10 a. m. , Saturday April 12, 2008, at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Father Dennis Schafer celebrating. Burial to follow in the St. Joseph?s Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p. m. to 9 p. m. Friday, April 11, 2008, at Stevenson Funeral Home with a vigil and rosary at 7 p. m. Judy passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at her home in Fort Lupton, CO. Judy Kraiter was born March 20, 1947, the daughter of John and Anna (Reindel) Kraiter in Dickinson, ND. She attended schools in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School. Judy married Ernest Tooz in Grand Forks, ND on June 6, 1967. Judy worked at Clear Channel Radio for 17 years before moving to Colorado in 2005. She was known as a very friendly and caring person. She lived for her kids and her grandchildren, she would do absolutely anything for them. Family loved her, and friends adored her. When she moved to Colorado in 2005 she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She fought her cancer longer than doctors expected, and she kept her sense of humor along the way. She made everyone’s day a lot brighter when they saw her. Judy is survived by: her son, Shawn (Rhonda) Tooz, Ft. Lupton, CO; daughters, Tanya (Paul) Gengler, Williston, ND and Dawn (Fianc?e, Sarah) Tooz, Ft. Lupton, CO; grandchildren, Desirae, Austin and Levi Tooz, Madison Gengler and Alexia Tooz; one brother, Greg (Paulette) Kraiter, rural Fargo, ND and one sister, Anita Wanner, Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ernest Tooz, parents, Anna and John Kraiter and one sister Ann Marie Burg.
