Karyl Kinnischtzke, known to most as Butch, 66, of Glen Ullin, died Friday, February 8, 2008 while a patient at Medcenter One. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Central Time on Tuesday, February 12 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Glen Ullin. Visitation will be held on Monday after 4:00 PM at Spangelo Funeral Home in Glen Ullin with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in the Glen Ullin Cemetery. Butch was born November 4, 1941 at Glen Ullin, the son of Victor and Elfrieda (Braun) Kinnischtzke. He was raised near Glen Ullin and graduated from Glen Ullin School. Butch worked in road construction for four years before taking over the family farm. In 1965 Carol Ames came to Glen Ullin to teach school. Butch and Carol?s friendship blossomed in to love, and they were married December 23, 1967. Butch?s life long farming legacy continues through his two sons Lyle and Lynn. He was involved in his community as a member of the First Congregational UCC Church, a past city councilmen, and Airport Authority. Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife Carol, Glen Ullin, ND; and two sons and daughters-in-law: Lyle and Julie, and their children Brooke and Drew; and Lynn and Nicole and their children Jacob and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by one sister: Dalyce Feemster, Tucson, AZ, two nephews: Derrick Feemster and Gary Sanborn, and one niece: Lauren Schroeder.
