Funeral Mass for Katherine Dukart, 103, of New England, ND, will be 10:30 a. m. , Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in New England, ND. Burial will be in the St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery in New England. A Rosary and Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p. m. CDT, Monday, July 12, 2010, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin, ND. A second Rosary and Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p. m. , Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson, ND. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. , Monday, July 12, 2010, continuing on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson and one hour prior to the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in New England. Katherine passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin, ND. Katherine Urlacher was born September 6, 1906, to Anton and Katherine (Staudinger) Urlacher at their farm in Kennedy Township 18 miles southeast of New England, ND. She grew up in a family of six brothers and three sisters. Katherine and Jacob L. Dukart were married November 7, 1928, at the Church of St. Helena, located on a corner of land donated by her father for the church and cemetery. St. Helena?s Church was built by Father Joseph Poettgens, who also witnessed their marriage. Katherine is survived by her children, Father George Dukart, Bismarck, ND, Mary Ann (Kenneth) Timm, Deadwood, SD, and Elizabeth Mack, Nekoma, ND; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two sons-in-law, Norbert Borho and Joseph Mack. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jacob, in 1986; her children, Anna Marie Dukart, Stephen Dukart, Genevieve Borho, and Luella Mack; and her son-in-law Henry Mack.
