Keith Johnson

Funeral Service for Keith L. Johnson, 62, of Baker, MT will be 2:00 p. m. on Friday, July 20, 2012 in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, MT with Pastors Bruce and Reba Kolasch officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Bonnievale Cemetery at Baker. Visitation will be 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. on Thursday, July 19th, and will continue on Friday from 10:00 a. m. to 12 noon at Stevenson Funeral Home. Keith passed away quietly on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at his home on the Johnson Ranch south of Baker, MT. Keith LeRoy Johnson was born in Baker, MT on January 22, 1950, the first child of Llewell L. and Betty J. (Hufford) Johnson. He attended school in Baker where he graduated from Baker High School in 1968. Following graduation he went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Agri Science/Animal Science/Pre-Vet Medicine from Montana State University in Bozeman in 1972. Keith and Paulette Taylor were married in Baker in 1968. Together they had three children: Amber, Aimee and Jared. Keith and Paulette would eventually divorce. Later Keith and Sheri Henry were married in Kansas. Together they had four children: Ely, Tiara, Jedediah and Seth. After many years Keith and Sheri too would divorce. Throughout his life, Keith would primarily spend his career working in the agriculture industry. In recent years he went to work in the oilfield where he drove truck and did roustabout work. Keith was preceded in death by a brother, Vance Alan Johnson in April of 2011. He is survived by his parents, Llewell and Betty Johnson, Baker, MT; his four siblings, Vicki Johnson, Bozeman, MT, Janice Johnson, Jefferson, LA, Llewell Craig Johnson, Baker, MT and Linda (Dean) Hepperle, Glendive, MT; his seven children, Amber (Matt) Welborn, Aimee (Eddy) Davis, Jared (Carrie) Johnson, Ely Johnson, Tiara Johnson, Jedediah Johnson and Seth Johnson; six grandchildren, Morgan, Mason, Julianna, Jaden, Colby and MacKinsey and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Keith had a difficult and troubled life. May he rest in peace in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
