Kenneth Don Freeze

Graveside Service for Kenneth Don Freeze will take place 12:30pm Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Bonnievale Cemetery with Don Buerkle officiating.

Kenneth of Folsum, CA passed away August 6, 2023.

Kenneth was born in Mt. View Oklahoma on November 22, 1933. He was one of five children born to the late Garland Lynwood Freeze and Avis Sipes Freeze. He grew up in Mt. View and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1960. Kenneth always considered being on the OSU Livestock Judging team one of his greatest accomplishments. He was a Marksman in the United States Army. He also loved to go deep sea fishing and was a huge fan of college and pro football.

Kenneth met Reva Joy Johnson while he was working in Baker, Montana. They were married in Miles City, Montana on November 25, 2005.

Kenneth was employed by the United State Department of Agriculture, Packers and Stockyards, and retired as the Regional Supervisor in 2005.

Kenneth is survived by his sister, Susan Crimson of OK; daughter Kathy Jo of Santa Fe, NM; son, Kenneth Dale Freeze (life partner Ann Mocan) of Folsum, CA; 3 grandchildren, Tristan Chavez (engaged Karla Chavez) of Azusa CA, Miranda Chavez of Chicago, IL and Ryan Chavez (wife Nicole); 2 beautiful great granddaughters, Olivia and Emery of Glendora, CA

Preceding his death were his wife of 49 years, Reva Joy Johnson Freeze; sisters, Gloria DeLong, Barbara Pritchard; brother, Winfrey Leon Freeze; his parents, Avis Sipes Freeze and Garland Lynwood Freeze.
