Kenton Zastoupil

A funeral service for Kenton Zastoupil, 30, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Simons officiating. Burial will follow at Dickinson Cemetery.


Visitation for Kenton will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home.


Kenton passed away October 4, 2017 in Dickinson.


Kenton was born September 8, 1987 to Dean and Sandra (Steckler) Zastoupil. He attended school at Roosevelt, Hagen, and Dickinson High School. Kenton worked at various construction jobs in the area such as Martin Construction and BC6 Construction. Over the years Kenton grew very close to the Bruce and Cebe Schneider family. He loved watching classic car auctions on TV. Kenton had a contagious laugh and the gift of telling stories and jokes that captivated his audience. He had a smile that made friends wherever he went. Kenton loved being around family and friends. He was very involved in AA and Celebrate Recovery. Kenton enjoyed attending church and tried many in the area.


Kenton is survived by his father, Dean Zastoupil; mother, Sandra (Paul) Steiner of Dickinson; siblings, Justin (Sarita) Steckler of Dickinson, Brendan (Kristin) Zastoupil of Ennis, TX, Crystalyn Zastoupil of Dickinson, Nalani Harwood of Dickinson, and Tiffany (Jamie Zentz) Zastoupil of Fargo, ND; grandparents, Leonard and Betty Steckler of Dickinson; nieces and nephews, Tierra, Damien, Bryton, Jack, Kolton, Moya, and Jorja, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.


Kenton was preceded in death by uncles Lyle Steckler, Albert Zastoupil; aunt, Shirley Nandory; grandparents, Albert and Eleanor Zastoupil.
