Funeral services for Kevin R. Kadrmas, 50, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Jim Braaten and Father Chris Kadrmas concelebrating. Burial will take place at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, New Hradec. Visitation will be from 11:00 a. m. to 3:00 p. m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home, visitation will continue from 4:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with a rosary and prayer service held at 7:00 p. m.
Kevin passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson, ND.
Kevin R. Kadrmas was born to Ray and Georgia (Kostelecky) Kadrmas on February 17, 1960. He grew up in Killdeer, ND. He attended school in town and graduated from Killdeer High School. After school, he moved to the Minneapolis, MN, and worked in graphic design for a number of years. In 2001, he returned to the Dickinson area and worked in graphic design for The Dickinson Press before entering the construction field with Tooz Construction and most recently, Fisher Industries in Dickinson. Kevin enjoyed working on his house, playing cards with his family and watching movies. He loved spending time with his dog, Puggie, riding his motorcycle, going to concerts, and doing the fireworks display at the farm for his nieces and nephews. He also was a member of the Killdeer Fire Department.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Ray and Georgia Kadrmas, Dickinson; his brother, Keith (Leann) Kadrmas, Minot, ND; sisters, Renee (Leonard) Hysell, Mt. View, WY, Connie (Steve Hartman) Kadrmas, Medora, ND, Cheryl (Gary) Kohler, Dickinson, Jolyn Bliss, Dickinson, Mary (Dave) Ell, Dickinson, and Susette (Keith) Ridl, Dickinson; 13 nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; one brother-in-law, Lyle Bliss; and several aunts and uncles.
