Lana “Rusti” Arthur, 56, formally of Dickinson, ND, died Friday June 24, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Grafton, North Dakota.
Lana”Rusti” Arthur was born March 18, 1955 in Dickinson, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Edward L Krank and Wanita (Kuhn) Krank . She grew up in Dickinson, where she attended St. Wenceslaus grade school and Dickinson High School. In 1973, Rusti married Jim Sticka. Rusti held various jobs as a seismographer in the oil fields in the Dickinson area, the Dickinson Press, IRS in Kansas City, MO, and most recently the Broken Arrow Bar in Manning, North Dakota. Rusti moved to Kansas City, MO. In 1981, She married Leonard Arthur. Lana taught us a lot about life, and held a special place in our hearts. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her father Leroy Mosbrucker, Dickinson, her three daughters Stacey (Jim) Andrews, Grafton, ND, Amy Arthur, Kansas City MO, and Cassidi Arthur, Kansas City MO, her 4 Grandchildren Brandon, Breanna, Logan, Victoria; Four Brothers, Pat (Gen) Krank, Dickinson, ND; Kenny (Cathy) Mosbrucker, Dickinson, Lee (Mary) Mosbrucker, Spokane, WA, Jim (Amy) Krank, Roundup, MT; three sisters, Tammy (Kodi)(Larry) Lee, Challis, ID; Lori (Laura) (Stephen) Stratton, Grand Forks, ND, Lisa (Alvin) Keller, Dickinson, ND, 19 Nieces and Nephews and six Great Grand Children, and a special sister in-law and best friend Bonnie Arthur of Kansas City, MO.
Rusti enjoyed crafts, going to the Casino, and spending time with family and grandchildren. She always brought a smile to everyone’s face.
She was preceded in death by her mother Wanita Mosbrucker, her father Edward L Krank, her brother Edward C Krank, her grandparents, and great nephew, Tayton Fitterer.
A funeral Mass for Lana Rae Arthur will be 9:00 a. m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Father Todd Kreitinger celebrating. Visitation for Lana will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND, with Prayer Service taking place at 6:00 p.m.
