A Funeral Mass for Larry Heiser, 69, of Belfield, will be 11:00 a. m. , Monday, July 29, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Belfield with Father Bill Ruelle celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery. Military Rites will be presented by the William Blair Post #144 of Belfield. Visitation for Larry will be 5:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. , Sunday, July 28th at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with a Rosary and Vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Larry passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Kindred Hospital Central Dakotas in Mandan, ND. Larry was born September 10, 1943, in Billings County, the son of Conrad and Katherine (Henrick) Heiser. He grew up south of Fryburg, attending school in Fryburg and high school in Belfield. Larry enlisted into the U. S. Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1966. Larry returned to Fryburg before heading to Nevada. On December 6, 1977, Larry married Olga Oliszczak in Nevada. Upon returning from Nevada, the couple made their home in Belfield. Larry and Olga had two sons, Christopher and Michael. In 1979, Larry began his business, Dakota Oilfield Service Inc. Larry enjoyed being at the shop every day and stripping wire. He also enjoyed taking the family camping as well as fishing. Larry was a member of the Billings County Rural Fire and Rescue Department. He was also a member of the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Belfield and a member of the American Legion Club. Larry is survived by his wife, Olga; two sons, Christopher (Holly) Heiser of Moorhead, MN and Michael Heiser of Belfield; one brother, Don (Bonnie) Heiser of Belfield; and one grandson, Paxton. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Fred and Billy Heiser; and one sister, Linda Ewalt.
