I am sorry to hear of the loss of a Labree cousin of mine. Although I did not know Larry well, due to us leaving Ekalaka when I was in 2nd grade, I was fortunate to go to high school with Julie in Miles City and so kept in touch with the family. With Larry what you saw was what you got. He was very cordial to my family when we got permission to go & revisit our old ranch land and house in the early 90's. He led us in and stayed with us during the visit. It was always painful for me to return to the ranch as it meant the end of my parents marriage and the eventual selling of the property. When this happened we just never got there often and friends & family became only a memory to me at that young age. So as an adult I am thankful for these cousins and the great grandparents we share.

I will always remember uncle Larry on his beautiful buckskin mare gathering cattle and always making me laugh joking with me. May he Rest In Peace.

I really liked Larry when we were in high school. He was a happy-go-lucky guy that looked exactly like the posted picture. Larry and I were friends and shared some memorable moments of mischief and laughter. I regret losing touch with him after high school but often thought about him and always wished him well. Very sorry to hear about his passing and send my sincere condolences to Larry's family and to his other friends.
