Larry D. Meduna, 41, Granite Falls, Wash. , formerly of Dickinson, died Saturday, December 28, 2002, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p. m. Friday, January 3, 2003, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with the Reverend Basil Atwell, O. S. B. celebrating. Interment will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be held at Price-Murphy Funeral Home on Thursday from 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. with a rosary said at 7 p. m. Larry D. Meduna, son of Charles and Irene (Olson) Meduna, was born May 20, 1961 at Dickinson. He moved with his parents to Watford City and in 1966 moved back to Dickinson. He attended school in South Heart and graduated in 1980. At the age of 18, he was injured in a pick-up accident that left him paralyzed. Overcoming his handicap, he went to college in Wahpeton, ND, for small engine repair. He returned to Dickinson and opened a small engine repair shop. In 1990, he moved to Granite Falls, Wash. , and continued his engine repair business. Larry loved to hunt and fish and his greatest joy was being with his two dogs, Buddy and Lulu, who went with him wherever he went. Larry is survived by his parents, Charles and Irene Meduna, Dickinson; brothers, Chuck (Paulette), South Heart, Barry (Laura), Dickinson; sister, Debbie (Florian) Kuntz, Belfield; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Corey and Jen Kuntz, Kris (Dawn), Kara (Michael), Kalyn and Kayden Meduna, Jared and Nicole Meduna and a great niece, Addison Irene. He was preceded in death by: a brother, Dennis and his grand parents.
