A funeral Mass for Larry F. Reisenauer, 64, of Belfield will be 11:00 a. m. , Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Belfield with Father Taras Miles celebrating. Burial will be held in the North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery on Thursday. Visitation for Larry will be from 1:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m. , Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. , at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with a rosary and vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Larry passed away in his sleep, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at his home near Belfield. Larry F. Reisenauer was born June 20, 1950 in Dickinson, the son of Frank and Margie (Shypkowski) Reisenauser. He grew up on the family farm south of Belfield and attended St. Mary’s High School in New England. After graduation, Larry enlisted in the United States Navy. Larry returned to Belfield after being honorably discharged. He worked with his father on the farm while working various other jobs. On January 20, 1995, Larry and Bonnie (Lagge) Martin were united in marriage. The couple made their home 12 miles south of Belfield. Along with farming, Larry operated Black Water Service Hot Shot Company. Larry enjoyed attending auction sales, tractor pulls, snowmobiling, shooting pool, and collecting guns. He was fond of spending time on the farm and working alongside his dad. He was a very social person, loved being around kids, and was always willing to help a friend in need. Larry was a member of the American Legion William C. Blair Post in Belfield, and the Knights of Columbus. Larry is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Crystal Wiege of Belfield ; son, Shelby (Tara) of Bismarck; step-sons, Dana (Bobbie) Martin of Elk Grove, CA, and Shannon (Tara) Martin of Gresham, OR; grandchildren, Savanna Lippert, Taylor Martin and Conner Martin; sister, Deb Frank; brothers-in-law, Don (Susan) Mayer of Dickinson, Rick Lagge of Dickinson, Rodney (Violet) Lagge of California; and Aaron Frank of Dickinson; sister-in-law, Linda (Carter) Christiansen of Montana; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Rodney; sister, Cheryl; and nephews, Joshua, and Jonathan Frank.
