Funeral Services for Laura Lea Brewer, 48, of Baker, MT will be 11:00 a. m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, MT with Robert Boggs officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p. m. in the family lot in the Lame Jones Cemetery west of Willard, MT. Visitation will be 12 noon to 7:00 p. m. on Tuesday, July 1st at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Laura Lea Brewer was born January 20, 1960, in Ekalaka, MT to Dwight and Erna Mae (Wang) Loutzenhiser, the oldest of two children. She lived at the Cabin Creek plant, and attended country school, first grade through sixth grade and later attended at Plevna. Laura quit school in the eight grade and received her GED in 1986. Laura was blessed with a single daughter, Shannon in 1978. The first of four boys, Michael was born in 1979. Laura married James Kinsey in October 1979, and to this union came Brice in 1981. After her divorce, she married John Brewer on October 26, 1985. They spent the next 23 years together, plus two more boys, Shane in 1988 and Levi in 1990. Laura also had many other children that she considered family which are too numerous to name. Laura was many things in life; a loving wife, mother and grandmother, as well as being a friend you could count on. Laura was also a bartender, hotel maid, and a business partner with Robin Wright at Quality Personal Care, until she moved on to other endeavors. She was also a member of Charity Chapter #60 of the Eastern Star. Laura passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at her home in Baker, MT. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Erna Mae. Laura is survived by her husband, John of Baker; one daughter, Shannon (Andy) Prenosil of Lincoln, NE; four sons, Michael (Kristia) Loutzenhiser, Brice (Karlene) Kinsey, Shane Brewer and Levi Brewer all of Baker; five grandchildren: a granddaughter, Jordan Prenosil, grandsons, Alex, Sean and Ivan Loutzenhiser and Dominick Kinsey; one brother, LaVern (Tina) Loutzenhiser and their children, Brittany and Jakob Loutzenhiser of Florida; an aunt, Alice Spika of Delta, CO; a brother-in-law, Dick Brewer of Ashland, MT; her mother-in-law, Sadie Brewer of Baker and numerous special friends she considered family. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevenson Funeral Home of Baker, MT.
