Funeral Service for Laura Marie Klemm, 93, of Spearfish, SD formerly of Dickinson, ND will be 10 a. m. , Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with Deacon Ron Keller officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Dickinson, ND. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND. Laura passed away July 2, 2008 at Spearfish Memorial Hospital, Spearfish, SD. Laura Marie was born May 30, 1915 in Hettinger, ND the daughter of Michael and Anna (Mellmer) Lampl. She grew up and attended Cedar School Number 2 through the 8th grade. Laura married Jack J. Klemm on November 7, 1933 in Hettinger, ND. Spearfish has been Laura?s home for the past 40 years. She was very active in her church and was a very social individual. She loved to dance, play pool and cards. Prior to becoming a resident of the Dorsett Nursing Home in Spearfish she lived at the Edith Miles Assisted Living Home for 7 years. Laura is survived by: sons; Jack (Dolores) Klemm, Florence, AZ, Kenneth Klemm, WA, Roger Klemm, Detroit Lakes, MN; sister; Kathryn Magelcky, Spearfish, SD; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: husband; Jack Klemm, son; Donald Klemm, brothers; Joe and John Lampl.
