A Funeral service for Lee Ann Gosline, 52, of Killdeer, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Killdeer with Pastor Rachel Simonson officiating.


Visitation for Lee will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Killdeer with a Prayer service being held at 7:00 p.m.


Lee Ann passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.


Lee Ann Rice was born July 22, 1960 in Dickinson, ND, the daughter of Walter and Carol (Jensen) Rice. She grew up on the family ranch near Killdeer, attended school in Killdeer later graduating from Killdeer High School. After graduation, she married Dan Dolechek. To this union three children were born: Tia, Josh and Jessen. Lee Ann worked various jobs over the years until she found her niche with the Natural Resource Council Service. She worked as a field tech with the NRCS for over 23 years before retiring in 2012. On November 19, 2003, Lee Ann married Rodney Gosline. The two made their home in Killdeer ever since. Lee Ann loved being outdoors and this made her a perfect fit for her job. She enjoyed darts, golfing, hunting and working on her home. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball. In recent years, Lee Ann was able to fulfill many lifelong goals such as traveling in a hot air balloon and riding in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon. Lee Ann will be remembered for her sense of humor, wit and engaging smile.


Lee Ann is survived by her husband, Rod; children, Tia (Aaron) Cook of Bismarck, Josh Dolechek of Bellingham, WA, Jessen Dolechek of Dickinson, and Kyle Gosline of Dunn Center; mother-in-law, Sharron Gosline of Williston; brothers, Delmont “Monty” (Laura) Rice of Killdeer, and Rick Rice of Killdeer; sister, Andrea “Andi” Schollmeyer of Killdeer; and sister-in-law, Karla (Troy) Miller of Prior Lake, MN.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Carol Rice; and brother-in-law, Clarence “Bus” Schollmeyer.


In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Killdeer Ambulance Service.
