Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial for Lenora Prociw, 74, will be 10:00 a. m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at St. John?s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Belfield with Rev. Taras Miles celebrating. Interment will follow in St. John?s Ukrainian Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, December 20, 2004 from 8:00 a. m. to 3:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel, continuing at 4:00 p. m. at St. John?s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Belfield with the Parastas at 5:00 p. m. Lenora Prociw passed away Friday, December 17, 2004 at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson. Lenora was born January 14, 1930 North of Belfield, the daughter of Fred and Barbara Jarowsky Krushevsky. She grew up, attended country schools and worked near home for some time. Lenora was married to Stanley R. Derylo in October of 1960. To this union, four children were born: Andrew, Elizabeth, Diane and Nancy. Together they farmed and raised their family. Stanley passed away May 16, 1967. The family moved to Fryburg where Lenora began working as a custodian at the Fryburg School. She was married to David Prociw on August 25, 1973 at Belfield. They moved to Belfield where they had made their home since. Lenora loved cooking, gardening, being with her children and family. She also enjoyed Ukrainian cultural activities. Lenora was a member of St. John?s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Belfield and Catholic Daughters. Survivors include her husband, David Prociw of Belfield; a son Andrew Prociw of Jordan, MN; three daughters: Elizabeth ( David) Trayers of Hastings, MN; Diane (Randy) Lax of Sleepy Eye, MN; Nancy (Jerry) Lombardi of Pine, Arizona; three brothers: Mike (Josephine) Krush of Dickinson; Paul (Mary Ann) Krush of Fairfield, ND and George Krushevsky of Belfield; three sisters: Helen Procive of Seattle, WA; Antoinette (Ivor) Carlson of El Cajon, CA and Ann Anheluk of Belfield and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Stanley. The family prefers memorial masses to St. John?s Ukrainian Catholic Church or St. Bernard?s Catholic Church.
