Funeral Mass for Leonard G. Staudinger, 72, of Sheridan, WY formerly of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church of Dickinson with Father Basil Atwell, celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph?s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, February 27, 2006 from 10:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with Rosary and Vigil Service at 7:00 p. m. Leonard passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Sheridan, WY. Leonard was born November 6, 1933 to Dominic and Emma (Kubischta) Staudinger on the family farm in Dunn County, North Dakota. He grew up in the Dickinson area and attended local schools. During this time he worked locally as a milk runner for Cloverdale Creameries. Leonard enlisted in the U. S. Navy in 1952. During his term, Leonard was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal, and China Service Medal. After being honorably discharged in 1965 he settled in Sheridan WY where he enjoyed hiking and fishing. During this time Leonard worked at Sheridan College. His playful and loving nature will be deeply missed. Leonard is survived by three sisters: Mary Ann (Frank) Pelzel of Sacramento CA; Eleanor (Victor) Bachmeier of Billings MT; Angie (Fred) Huschka of Ellensburg WA; and thirteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister in childhood and two infant brothers. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association
