Leone Fuchs

Funeral services for Leone Fuchs, 92, of Dickinson, ND. will be 2:00 pm, Friday, December 26, 2008 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Steven Tangen officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 8 am to 1 pm Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home and continuing on Friday, from 8 am to 12:00 pm. at Stevenson Funeral Home. Leone passed away Thursday December 18, 2008 at St. Luke?s Nursing Home in Dickinson, ND. Leone Koenig was born on September 16, 1916 the daughter of Jacob and Christina (Koth) Koenig at Underwood, North Dakota. She attended schools in Underwood graduating from high school. Leone was married to Walter Fuchs on April 15, 1945. Leone and Walter lived and made Dickinson their home all of their lives. To this union five children were born, Tim, Peggy, Ron, Clark and Curt. Leone enjoyed baking and was considered a master baker by all. Survivors include, a daughter, Peggy (Martin Piekos) Walter, Peterbrough, NH; four sons, Tim (Cathe) Fuchs, Grafton, WI, Ron Fuchs, Clark (Karen Lewis) Fuchs, Curt (Joanna) Fuchs, all of Dickinson, ND and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter, four brothers and a sister.
