Lesley R. Dinius, 60, Gladstone, died Thursday, January 19, 2006, at Fort Meade VA Medical Center, Stugis, S. D. Funeral services are 9 a. m. , Monday, January 23, 2006, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson with Fr. Boniface Muggli, O. S. B. officiating. Interment will be in the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be 2 p. m. to 9 p. m. , Sunday, January 22, 2006, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p. m. led by Fr. Boniface Muggli, OSB. Lesley Raymond Dinius was born May 30, 1945, in Richardton, ND to Nick and Anna (Ostji) Dinius. He was raised and attended school in Richardton. On August 3, 1967, he enlisted in the U. S. Army, serving in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. Lesley returned home in 1970. On August 18, 1971, he married Sandra Schneider in Dickinson. Lesley was a member of the Jaycees, Eagles Club and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, hunting and camping. He is survived by: four children, Troy (Stephanie) Dinius, Dickinson, Jason Dinius, Dickinson, Wyatt Dinius, Dickinson and Amy (Kirk) Wojahn, Gladstone; five grandchildren, Brett, Isaak, Cadin, Alec and Seth; seven sisters, Lillian Richardson, Forsythe, MT, Rita (Arlan) Goetz, Richardton, Sylvia (Wayne) Belile, Sterling, ND, Virginia (Dennis) Potts, Custer, MT, Janice (Butch) Bestrom, Billings, MT, Marlene Dinius, St. Paul, MN and Gloria Wanner, Dickinson, ND; one brother, Mel (Cheryl) Dinius, Reno, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Memorials may be given to: The Gideons International, Taylor Gideon Camp, Box 1462, Dickinson, ND 58601.
