Lillian passed away Saturday, August 16, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Dickinson. Lillian Elizabeth was born August 21, 1925 in Alpha, ND, the seventh in a family of ten children born to Edward and Elizabeth (Sura) Jendro. She grew up on the farm and attended school in Alpha. Lillian was united in marriage to Herman Feldmann on October 26, 1943 in Wibaux, MT. The couple farmed and ranched on their farm north of Beach for over 40 years. After retiring the couple moved to Dickinson. In 2011, Lillian moved to Country House and in 2014 to St. Benedict’s Health Center. Lillian chose to dedicate all her time, energies and love to the work she was best at; that of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lillian was a loving, kind and non-judgmental person. She loved people, animals and nature. In her own gentle and quiet way she gave of herself to all those fortunate enough to know her; family, friends, caregivers and total strangers. Giving always seemed more important to Lillian than receiving. She acted from her heart, keeping in mind the hearts of others. Lillian went to be with her God, who she served throughout her earthly journey. Lillian will be greatly missed by all those who loved her; to include her sons, Darrell Feldmann, Dale (Pat) Feldmann ; two daughters, Marlys (Wes) Smith, Leane (Don) Zieman; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Jim (Phyllis) Jendro; and four sisters, Emajean Chaffee, Vonda Stull, Delaine (Alf) Helvick, and Angela Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Elizabeth Jendro; husband, Herman Feldmann; grandson, Brook Ballard; granddaughter, Lorie Smith; three brothers, Cliff, Dayton, and Irving Jendro; and one sister, Adeline Johnson.
