Linda Staples, 68, of Dickinson passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck, ND, after 7 year battle with health issues. No services are being held at this time per Linda’s wishes.
Linda was born on June 14, 1951 the daughter of Brooks and Dreama (Birkhammer) Lough in Weston, West Virginia. She grew up and attended school graduating in Virginia. Linda was married to Anthony Staples in August of 1969. Three children were born to this union, Jennifer, Anthony II, and Erin. The family moved to Florida where Linda began her career as an LPN and devoted the rest of her life to caring for others. Her career spanned 30 years and thousands of miles taking her all over the United States.
Linda loved country music and had attended many music concerts over the years. She loved her, son, daughters and grandchildren and followed them throughout the country as well. Linda had a special place in her heart for her grandson Tino who also adored her. Her love for caring for her patients and her family was always shown and given.
Survivors include, three children, Jennifer (Jimmy) Inmon, Cheyenne, WY, Erin (James Dalton) Long and Anthony (Hollie) Staples II, Cheyenne, WY; her mother and step-father, Dreama (Sonny) Barrow, Brandon, FL; a brother, Gary Lough, Midlothian, TX; three sisters, Sue (Roy) Alexander, Waxahachie, TX, Cheryl Lough, Bradenton, FL and Theresa (Sergio) Cervantes, Brandon, FL and seven grandchildren.
