Linda Thompson

Funeral Service for Linda R. Thompson, 66, of Miles City, formerly of Baker, Montana will be 12:00 p. m. , Friday, February 14, 2014 in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker with Pastor Bruce Kolasch officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday. Linda passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Montana. Linda R. Bjorne was born in Ada, MN on May 12, 1947, the daughter of Palmer and Irene Bjorge. On March 8, 1981, Linda and Norman Thompson were united in marriage in Detroit Lakes, MN. To this union three children were born, Bradley, Billy and Brian. Linda and Norman lived in Fargo for many years where they raised their boys. In 1991, the family moved to Baker, MT to near her mother and step-father, Irene and Art. After Norman passed away in 2008, Linda moved to Miles City, MT. Linda resided at Home Stead Homes in Miles City until shortly before her death. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family at various gatheringsand holidays. Throughout the years she enjoyed making and collecting dolls and listening to gospel music. Her favorite songs were Amazing Grace and Talking to God. Helping people brought Linda great joy and she had a passion for working with the residents at Bethany Homes and Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo. She had a great love for her little mini-pincher, Zombree. Linda was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Baker, MT. Linda is survived by her sons, Bradley of Baker, MT, Billy of Great Falls, MTand Brian of Moorhead, MN; grandchildren Noah, Gabriel and Luke of Moorhead MN; and extended family Jerry and Shirley Bonnet of Casper, WY; niece, Heidi Olson; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Landin, Canonn, Brook-Lyn and Boston Olson of Casper, WY. She now resides in peace with her parents; her husband Norman Thompson; and her Dennis Bjorge.
