Linda passed away peacefully and suddenly on July 3, 2009, of a condition called sudden death syndrome at her home in Baker. Linda Cameron was born on July 10, 1961, the daughter of Terrence and Rosemarie (Ulven) Cameron in Baker. She grew up and attended schools in Baker, graduating from Baker High School in 1979. As a young girl she loved to go with her Dad when he was farming. She also loved to attend the Fallon County Fair which continued to be a highlight for her and her children. Linda married her high school sweetheart, Gary Wade, on April 19, 1980 in Baker, Montana. To this union four children were born: Ryan, Chad, Jason and Marni. Being a mother and raising her children was her greatest enjoyment. She was their biggest cheerleader, traveling and going nonstop to any event, ballgame or rodeo they were in. She was never seen without a bright smile and always took time for a visit. In 2002 she began working for the Baker elementary schools as a library aide. Linda truly enjoyed her time working with the children. She especially loved all of the hugs they would give her. Linda made her house the home her children and their many friends loved. She never had a weed in the garden and worked endlessly on keeping her yard immaculate. Linda loved and was devoted to her husband and children and was greatly looking forward to becoming a grandmother for them. Survivors include, her husband, Gary, Baker; three sons, Ryan (Jennifer) Wade, Glendive, MT, Chad Wade, Belfield, ND and Jason (Kayla) Wade, Bismarck, ND; a daughter, Marni Wade, of the family home in Baker; her mother, Rosemarie (Bob) Dahlman, Baker; two brothers, Glen (Marilyn) Cameron, Columbus, Missouri and Gary (Denise) Cameron, Silverton, OR; a sister, Susan (Boyd) Plummer, Carlyle, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Cameron. Due to the warm weather the family is encouraging casual attire for the service. A memorial has been established for the Baker Elementary Library?s in memory of Linda and can be mailed to PO Box 659, Baker, Montana 59313.
