He was born on June 28, 1933, at the family farm 10 miles south of Plevna, MT, to Gottlieb and Barbara (Ochner) Ehret. He grew up on the farm. He attended Ehret Country school for his early education and then graduated from Plevna High School in 1951. During and after high school, Fuzz worked for a dairy farm close to town that his parents eventually bought from the Schuetzle’s. He worked with his parents until 1978 when he inherited the farm. At that time he turned it into a cow/calf operation. Fuzz loved cattle and worked with his cows of many colors until the day he died. For many years, Fuzz did not need numbers for his cattle, he knew every cow and her calf by sight. Fuzz was one of a kind who was a staple in the Plevna community. He enjoyed attending Plevna Cougar basketball games where he was their #1 Fan. He was a very witty man with a big heart who loved meeting new people. Fuzz’s favorite pastime was attending coffee hour with all his friends. He hated missing coffee in fear of missing the latest news. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert, Ralph, Harold (Glenna), Morris and Ervin; and brother-in-law Elmo Martinson. He is survived by sisters, Gert Martinson, Delores (Richard) Wallenstein; brother, Marvin; sisters-in-law, Mirth, Mary Ann and Shirley; godson, Isaac (Jacee) VanDyke; 20 nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Yoyo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church in Plevna in Fuzz’s name.
