Lloyd Irvine

Funeral Services for Lloyd Irvine, 78, of Billings, MT and formerly of Baker and Bozeman will be at 10:30 a. m. on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Hope United Methodist Church at 244 Wicks Lane in Billings, MT with Pastor Gary Geiman officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a. m. on Friday, March 27, 2009 in the Irvine family lot in Bonnievale Cemetery at Baker, MT. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday. Lloyd passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT. Lloyd was born January 15, 1931, in Baker, Montana to Wilbur and Gertrude (North) Irvine. He was raised on the family farm southwest of Baker. In 1949, he married Leona Wiseman and together they had Sheila and Stan. The family moved to Bozeman in 1952, and Lloyd began driving truck for Kessler Dairy. He was transferred to Billings in 1976 continuing to drive truck for Jersey and Meadow Gold Creameries. Lloyd retired in 1996, after 44 years. He leaves his wife, Leona; daughter, Sheila (Cliff) Hanson; son, Stan; granddaughters, Amanda (Chris) Loesche and Kelli Hanson; brother, Bob (Delores) Irvine; brothers-in-law, Russ (Agnes) Wiseman and Bennie Bechtold; sister-in-law, Lorraine Piesik; and many special nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Scott Hanson; his parents, Wilbur and Gertrude Irvine; and his sister, Carol Bechtold. The family would like to thank Dr. Santala, the Infusion Center staff, the ICC nurses and staff, and the Dialysis Center nurses at the Billings Clinic for their compassionate and professional care. Memorials may be made to the Oncology Department and sent to the Billings Clinic Foundation, P. O. Box 31031, Billings, MT, 59107. Arrangements are under the care of Stevenson Funeral Home of Baker, MT.
