A funeral Mass for Loreen “Lee” Emmil, 78, of Dickinson, will be 9:30 a. m. , Monday, October 5, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Todd Kreitinger celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s cemetery following the Mass. Visitation for Lee will be from 3:30 p. m. – 5:30 p. m. , October 4th at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil service being held at 4:30 p. m. Lee received her angel wings on Monday, September 28, 2015 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck. Loreen was born to Raymond and Hertha (Trester) Zinsli in Sentinel Butte, ND. Growing up, she attended and graduated from Beach High School. Lee met the love of her life, Cyril Emmil, at a café in Beach. They were married on October 10, 1955 in Beach and began their married life in Mansfield, OH. Following their return to North Dakota, the couple purchased the Emmil farm south of South Heart. They were blessed with four children, Diane, Jolene, Brenda and Mark. Lee had worked for TMI, White Drug and was a volunteer for many activities. She spent 30 years working with Hospice. Faith was very important to Lee. She worked in pastoral care as a Eucharistic minister, St. Patrick’s Church board member, Holy Hour Adoration every week, prayer chain member, bible study, and Mardi Gras volunteer. Lee was very close to her family and friends. She enjoyed coffee groups, cards and gardening. She will be forever loved and dearly missed. Lee is survived by her husband, Cyril Emmil of Dickinson; daughters, Diane Senn of NV, Jolene Roberts of OR, Brenda Kostelecky of Dickinson; son, Mark Emmil of Lisbon; sisters, Ellie Bissell, Pauline Northrup, Geneese Zinsli; brothers, Jim, Lee, Butch, Mick and Bob Zinsli; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Kostelecky, Jonathan (Natasha) Senn, Brittany Christenson, Savanah Emmil and six great grandchildren, Gabriel, Gavin, Elijah, Jasmine, Evan and Abel. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Ray and Heartha Zinsli; brothers, Ray, Russell, Harry, Bernie, Jerry Zinsli; sister, MaryAnne Cooke.
