A funeral service for Lorraine Brademeyer, 89, of New Salem, formerly of Hebron, will be at 11:00 am, CT, February 9, 2017 at St. John’s Church of Hebron with Pastor Olson officiating.
Burial will take place in the spring at St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation for Lorraine will be at St. John’s Church from 10:00-11:00 am, CT
Lorraine passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at Elm Crest Manor in New Salem.
Lorraine was born December 5, 1927 in Burt, ND, daughter of Richard & Lena (Dittus) Klein. She attended school until the eighth grade in Burt. On September 23rd, 1952, she married Alfred Schulz at St. John’s Church in Hebron. Through this marriage they were blessed with three children, Peggy, Audrey & Clayton. Lorraine worked various jobs in Hebron, Glen Ullin & Richardton until her retirement. On December 26th, 1987 she married Vernon Brademeyer at St. John’s Church in Hebron. Through the years she enjoyed quilting, crocheting and playing cards and games with family and friends. She loved cooking & baking, especially chocolate chip cookies as many have tasted.
Lorraine has touched many hearts through her faith in God. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and neighbors as they played a large role in her life. She was a member of the St. John’s Church of Hebron, Women’s Guild & the Homemaker’s Club.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Peggy (Wayne) Stoller, of Bismarck, Audrey (Bob) Grinsteiner, of Mandan, and Clayton (JoAnn) Schulz, of New Salem; brother, Paul (Millie) Klein, of Dickinson; sister, Tillie (Ed) Kindsvogel, of Mandan; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Alfred Schulz and Vernon Brademeyer; sisters, Irene Mayer and Agnes Mayer; and brother, Leslie Klein.
